Superior Control of Density and Tolerances
Punch velocity and the number of impacts can be precisely varied to control densification. You can *dial in* densities.
Based on trial runs and customer run-offs on a 1000 gram, 25 mm high part, densities can be controlled to StDev 0.01 g/cm3.
The HVC process allows for uniform densities throughout the part, providing closer tolerances after sintering. For the same 1000 gram part, OAL (overall length) variations were StDev 0.025 mm and weight variations were StDev 0.8g.
